What is Reiki?
Originating in Japan and formalized by Dr. Mikao Usui, Reiki is an energy healing technique that channels life force energy to restore balance.
While not a medical cure, Reiki's rebalancing effect can contribute to symptom relief and improved well-being.
This non-invasive practice uses gentle hand placements on or near the body, and its benefits include reductions in pain and anxiety, improved sleep, and greater mental clarity.

What to expect during a Reiki session.
Full-hour Reiki sessions address both the front and back of your body. Shorter, half-hour sessions are available upon request during booking.
During a session, you'll remain fully clothed, comfortably lying on a massage table or seated in a chair. The practitioner will gently place their hands on or near your body, and you may experience sensations like warmth, coolness, or tingling—signs of the life force energy flowing.
Reiki is a safe, non-invasive practice that encourages energy flow, similar to how yoga promotes energy movement.
Imagine your energy as a stream: when blocked, it stagnates; when flowing freely, it's clean and nourishing. Reiki helps clear these blockages.
Stagnant energy can impact mood, sleep, and mental clarity. Reiki facilitates the flow of universal life force energy, aligning and balancing your chakras. Benefits include relaxation and reduced anxiety or depression. Reiki complements, but does not replace, medical treatment, supporting your overall healing journey.

It started with a quiet curiosity back in 2007. Reiki kept popping up in my life, almost like a whisper. Then, in New York City, I found myself chatting with a Reiki practitioner, and it felt like a sign. That first session? It was like a massage for my soul, a release I didn’t even know I needed. It changed things. I started listening to my body more, making better choices. And that led me to learn Reiki and practice myself. After ten years of practice, I became a Reiki Master.
